David Trinder is the owner and CEO of F&I Administration Solutions LLC, delivering SCS Auto, a leading solution for the administration of vehicle service contracts, GAP, prepaid maintenance, appearance protection and more. Delivered as a fully web-based, hosted solution, SCS Auto is a complete administration solution. In addition, SCS Auto provides a dealer site for quick quotes, eContracting, contract lookup, remittance and more, mobile solutions for agents and customers and electronic connections to more than 30 menu systems for both eRating and eContracting. No system connects providers to the industry more than F&I Admin’s SCS Auto.

Before acquiring F&I Admin, David was Senior Vice President, Network Solutions, at DealerTrack, Inc. where he oversaw the development of the new web-based SCS Auto platform and prior to that he was Chief Executive Officer of DealerAccess Canada Inc.

Brent Allen is Founder and Managing Partner of StoneEagle Insurance Systems Inc., StoneEagle.com Inc., and StoneEagle Services Inc. located in Richardson Texas. Allen has been in the industry for over 27 years serving clients ranging from Agents, and Third Party Administrators, to Insurers, and Auto manufacturers. He functioned as lead developer, division manager, sales manager, and President of StoneEagle Insurance systems for 18 years before taking a lead role in StoneEagle.com 2008.

As President of StoneEagle.com, he led a team of developers, managers, and customer support representatives who supply some of the most sophisticated reporting, integration, and menu tools in the industry to nearly half of the auto dealers in the country.

Allen played an instrumental role in developing the concept of the “Virtual Card” payment process offered and patented by StoneEagle Services in the Auto and Health Care industries. As COO of StoneEagle Services, his role was to work with, coordinate, and execute executive vision and direction with the project management, development, and customer support teams, and to insure channel partner relationships, integration, and performance optimization.

Jimmy Atkinson is President/CEO of AUL Corp providing Vehicle Service Contracts, Warranty Administration, Reinsurance and Consulting to independent agents and dealers in all 50 States. In his current role he works closely with Agents and Dealers to bring innovative solutions to the rapidly changing marketplace we operate in today. His proudest accomplishments in recent years are AUL’s five Dealer’s Choice Awards and being selected for four-years in a row as North Bay’s best places to work.

Jimmy has been an executive in the vehicle service contract field for over twenty years. Prior to joining AUL he led the VSC business for Assurant Solutions, one of the largest underwriters in the industry. He is also an engaging, thought provoking speaker for F&I, Sales and Leadership topics who has inspired many audiences. Jimmy recently led a workshop at the Agent Summit in 2015, a keynote in 2017 and has spoken at 8 NADA Conventions, the F&I Conference, RVDA, ATD along with State Conventions and 20 Groups. He began his career in the retail side of the automobile business spending eight years as a salesperson, F&I Manager and Sales Manager. Jimmy is an avid runner who has completed four marathons and also enjoys cycling, golf and supporting his hometown Atlanta sports teams.

Rob joined Wise F&I in 2007 and initially managed strategic development of certain products and systems.  In 2009, Rob assumed significant executive management responsibilities for Wise F&I as Vice President and Director of Operations – and in 2013 was promoted to Executive Vice President.

Rob’s management and focus on development in the areas of operations, technology, human resources, compliance, and business development have all lead to significant growth for Wise F&I.  Prior to joining Wise F&I, Rob gained significant experience serving in a senior management role for a national wholesale finance company.

Bob Corbin is a seasoned auto industry executive with over thirty years of experience in the automotive industry. He currently serves as Executive Chairman where is primary focus is on the company’s mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that he served as President and Chief Executive Officer for over a decade. Under his leadership, IAS saw tremendous growth. Prior to his position at IAS, Mr. Corbin served for eight years as Senior Vice President and National Sales Manager for CNA National Warranty Corporation, one of the top three volume vehicle service contract companies in the industry. Mr. Corbin has experience as a field general agent, which provides him unique insight into how best to market to automobile dealers and recruit and manage a national distribution system.

Ron Greer is Vice President of Provider Services at Open Dealer Exchange, LLC. He is responsible for developing business relationships with F&I Product Providers and Agents for the Provider Exchange Network (PEN) division. Prior to this position, Greer held leadership positions in Product Management, Operations and Sales at Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP) and EDS. In those positions, he developed implementation and software utilization programs to support the launch and development of the Saturn Retailer System, an industry-first enterprise solution which integrated the Saturn Corporate Systems with the Dealership Software. Ron also holds the belief that Sam Tarly is an integral part of the ongoing saga and predicts the Detroit Lions will go 9-7 this season.

Kristen is the President of Dealers Assurance Company (DAC), and has worked in the insurance arena for 25 years, mainly in roles specific to the F&I industry. Over the course of her career, she has focused on developing insurance solutions for agents, dealers, and OEMs. Today, Kristen and her management team of industry experts work to provide DAC’s clients with the exceptional regulatory, compliance, and analytical support they need to grow their business.

Lori Hallissey has had a far-reaching and successful career, spanning more than three decades in the automotive industry.  She began her career in the early 1980’s in a Chevrolet/Oldsmobile dealership in San Diego. Enamored by the F&I side of the business she joined a rapidly growing TPA, ultimately running all operations for the company. Hallissey then branched out to manage and grow a multistate general agency serving California, Utah and Nevada.  Her achievements there led her to be recruited to run all F&I product administration for Protective Asset Protection in Chicago where she continued her success.  In 2013 she joined the Allstate Dealer Services team, where she led a large team as VP of Operations and Customer Experience. In October of 2016 Hallissey joined the Portfolio team as Chief Operating Officer to bring her extensive experience to one of the fastest-growing companies in the F&I business.

Arden Hetland is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of American Financial & Automotive Services, Inc. and American Financial Warranty Corporation. The American Financial companies provide comprehensive F&I development, first class administrative services, and a full portfolio of F&I products to maximize dealership profits. The Automotive Training Academy (ATA), a division of American Financial, complements these offerings by preparing automotive professionals for the demands of the industry. Recognized for having the highest standards of integrity and ethics, American Financial has received multiple Dealers’ Choice Awards and other industry awards.

Hetland began his automotive career after graduating from North Dakota State University. He held multiple positions in the retail automotive business, and later continued his career with World Service Life. During his eight years at World Service Life, he was promoted to Vice President and Director of the Auto Services Group and then to Senior Vice President of Credit Insurance Services. He also won various distinguish sales awards during his tenure at World Service Life. Through a merger in 1986, Hetland proceeded to become the Vice President of Insurance Marketing for American National Insurance Company, the third largest insurance company in the country.

In 1992, Hetland incorporated American Financial & Automotive Services, Inc. Since then, he has led the company to be an industry leader, receiving multiple endorsements from state and metro dealer associations.

Hetland is also a founding member of the Association of Finance & Insurance Professionals (AFIP). As such, the American Financial companies were the first to have their entire field force AFIP certified. Furthermore, the ATA offered the first AFIP certified F&I training course. In 2016, Hetland assisted in developing the ACE certification program to further enhance ethics and compliance within the automotive industry.

Hetland and his wife, Donna, are both natives of North Dakota. They are actively involved in their church and community. They have two daughters and five grandchildren. They currently reside in The Woodlands, Texas, a suburb of Houston.

Daniel has been with American Guardian Warranty Services since its inception in 1998, originally as a consultant and formally joined the management team in 2006. During this period Daniel has been an integral part of the growth and success of AGWS and their development of key industry leading technology solutions.

 

Adam Pope

Before getting into the automotive industry, Adam Pope was a meteorologist in the US Air Force. After leaving the military, he got his start in the auto business working for Maritz Performance Improvement Company on dealer and customer cash incentive programs for OEMs. Pope has as over 25 years of automotive and F&I industry experience including over 20 years of aftermarket focus and he has held senior level positions with captive finance, manufacture/distributor, independent auto finance and banking firms, including Mitsubishi Motors North America, Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America, WFS Financial, Wachovia Dealer Services, Wells Fargo Dealer Services and Warranty Solutions. Pope has been president of Warranty Solutions for the last 4 years.

His hobbies include snow skiing, camping, hiking, 4-wheeling in his Jeep, biking and playing with his 2 Vizslas.

In 1996, Kelly founded National Automotive Experts (NAE), NWAN, Inc. and, more recently, Imprise Financial (an Ohio Captive Insurance company).  Kelly and her team consistently strive for innovation.  They are the company in the industry that people turn to when they need something “outside of the box.” They will research, discover, create and design new ways of doing business that help them exceed the needs of the client. This consultative business model has helped guide many of their clients to new levels of success and financial profitability.

Kelly and her organizations are also known for their charitable work within the community.  They are particularly focused on one organization that helps children in the greater Cleveland/Akron area, the Cleveland Christian Home.  In their most recent donor newsletter, Kelly and her husband, along with NAE/NWAN, were listed as the two top donors for CCH (the only two donors listed in the “above $50,000” category).  The CCH is the top mission for both Kelly’s family and the NAE/NWAN family.

Mitch founded C&K Auto Parts with his brother in 1994 and they added Warranty Inspection Services in 2003.  Concentrating on providing these services to Service Contract and Insurance related companies over the last 22 years, they now do business with over 75 Contract Administrators.  Positioning his companies as leaders in technology has provided his clients with new and more efficient ways of doing business.  Mitch has also written articles for P&A Magazine and participated on past Summit Panels.

Tony Wanderon has been an innovator and leader in automotive F&I since 1986. As the President of a large independent insurance agency and administrator, he established relationships with both major financial institutions and OEMs while pioneering several F&I products including GAP. In addition, after the sale of his company to a major insurance company he served nearly 15 years as President of several of their companies.

Wanderon is the founder of Family First Dealer Services, which he merged with National Auto Care (NAC) in 2013 and of which he is currently President and CEO. As CEO of NAC, Wanderon has partnered with some of the premier underwriters and service providers in the industry to deliver innovative products to independent agents nationwide.

Wanderon has a reputation as a visionary in the industry, and is often called upon to speak at industry events, serve on advisory boards, as well as regularly providing insight for several automotive F&I industry publications.
